However, when confirming a successful sale, we reveal only the last five digits of your credit card number. DoveBid makes no representation or warranty concerning such companies or the services that they offer.

From time to time, DoveBid may enter into promotional alliances that introduce users of third-party websites to our services, among other reasons. While we use various technologies to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information is restricted in our offices. Our Website provides Users the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications from DoveBid 1) on the "DoveBid Account Registration" form when they register and 2) on the Change Email Settings form accessible from the Your Account page. In addition, Users may opt out of receiving communications from companies with whom DoveBid has entered into promotional alliances.
When registering, here is the question we ask and what it means: "I'd like DoveBid and its alliance companies to notify me of upcoming auctions and promotions." If you check the box opposite this question, we may send you timely information on upcoming events based on your User profile, and we may share your personal information with companies with whom we've entered into promotional alliances. Communications from DoveBid are not likely to be more than once per week. If you do not check the box opposite this question, DoveBid will not send you any such communications and will not share your personal information in that manner.
Users who no longer wish to receive promotional materials from DoveBid or our alliance partners may opt-out of receiving these communications either by replying "remove" in the subject line in the email, by emailing us at customerservice@dovebid.com or by calling us toll free at (800) 665-1042.
