DOVEBID ANNOUNCES NEW HEAD OF EUROPE

Giuseppe Corti, Formerly of NEC, Hired to Grow the Company's European Businesses

FOSTER CITY, CA (December 6, 2005) - DoveBid, Inc., a leading global provider of capital asset auction, valuation and managed services, today announced the appointment of Giuseppe Corti to lead the company's European business.

As DoveBid's new Senior Vice President, Europe, Mr. Corti brings over a decade of European leadership experience, most recently as Managing Director of Southern Europe for NEC computers, where he managed the Packard Bell brand for the Consumer market and the NEC brand for the Enterprise market. In this role, Mr. Corti was involved in all aspects of the business including sales and marketing, strategy, finance and budgeting, and logistics for his primary territory including Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece. He brings experience managing a business generating sales in excess of €100 million annually, as well as many solid long-term business relationships across Europe. Prior to NEC he held a number of sales and marketing positions at Amstrad in the Consumer Electronics and IT Products divisions.
