DOVEBID® TO CONDUCT SERIES OF WEBCAST AND ONLINE AUCTIONS FOR PFIZER INC.

FOSTER CITY, CA (January 20, 2004) - DoveBid, Inc., a global provider of capital asset auction and valuation services, announced today that it will conduct a series of Webcast and Online auctions of an ultra-modern pharmaceutical research and development facility for Pfizer, Inc.

The Webcast auction will be conducted live over the Internet at DoveBid’s Website on January 28, 2004 beginning at 9:00 a.m. Central Time in Skokie, IL. The auction will feature Agilent/Hewlett-Packard HPLC Systems, Varian spectrophotometers, liquid chromatography systems, injection systems, microscopes, centrifuges and environmental chambers. Simultaneously, DoveBid will be conducting a Featured Online Auction for Pfizer, Inc. via the Internet only at www.dovebid.com from January 28-30, 2004. Online bidding ends on January 30, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

DoveBid will also be conducting a series of upcoming sales for Pfizer, Inc. Upcoming sales in Kalamazoo, MI include a Webcast Auction of biotechnology and pharmaceutical equipment on February 25, 2004 and February 26, 2004 beginning at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time and via Online Auction from February 26, 2004 through February 27, 2004. Upcoming sales in Paris, France include a Webcast Auction on March 3, 2004 followed by an Online Auction from March 3, 2004 through March 5, 2004.
