FOSTER CITY, CA (April 8, 2003) - DoveBid, Inc., a global provider of capital asset auction and valuation services, today announced the appointments of R. Matthew Clark to President of DoveBid Valuation Services, Inc. (DVS) – North America and Peter Bache, to President, DoveBid Valuation Services, Inc. (DVS) – International.

Prior to joining DoveBid, Clark was a Partner and National Practice Leader for KPMG/KPMG Consulting’s valuation group with a combined 14 years of experience at KPMG and Ernst & Young. Clark was most recently DVS’s Vice-President of Corporate Services, leading the launch of this dynamic practice in mid 2002. In his many leadership roles, Clark has served a who’s who of Fortune 500 clients gaining a deep understanding of all classes of assets and valuations. Clark is a recognized thought leader on intangible asset valuations and has a personal specialization in telecommunications, high tech and media.

Peter Bache has served as President of DoveBid Europe since 2002 following the company's acquisition of Bache Treharne, an auction and valuation company where Bache was the principal partner. Bache has tremendous experience in all aspects of asset management, having managed large international auctions and provided comprehensive valuation services to Europe and Asia. Bache will now have expanded responsibilities for growing DVS’s international presence and continuing to grow DoveBid’s market share.
