SquareTrade to Provide
Trust Services to the DoveBid Marketplace

— DoveBid to Make SquareTrade Seal and Online
Dispute Resolution Services Available to Auction Users —

(Tuesday, September 26, 2000) - SquareTrade™, the leading innovator in the development of a trust infrastructure for e-commerce transactions, today announced an agreement with DoveBid®, Inc., a leader of Webcast and online business-to-business capital asset auctions and valuation services. SquareTrade's agreement with DoveBid follows closely on the heels of SquareTrade's recently announced deals with eBay, HelloBrain.com, Onvia and eSasa.com, as online marketplaces implement mechanisms to create higher levels of trust between buyers and sellers.

Under the agreement, DoveBid will make SquareTrade's trust building services, both online dispute resolution and the SquareTrade Seal, available to DoveBid's users.
